The Randomizer!

Seiyu shrugged and looked at Blake. "Why not? Better than being on the run all the time." She turned back towards Evangeline. "Wizards huh...looks like we'll have to play fire with fire. Anyone know any magic?"

Blake shook his head before tilting his head. "I do have some gadgets that can deflect magic though..."

Leon shook his head, stepping aside to let the stranger in.

"Not really. Wizards are a little gamey," Evangeline commented.

"Thank you," the stranger said gratefully, rushing inside and pushing the door shut behind him, sighing as he heard loud howling. "Just in time, too."

Kaien looked at the stranger. "Who are you?"

Seiyu sighed a bit. "I know a bit... but it seems the enemy are even stronger." She shook her head. "Looks like we're going to need to find a way to defeat them."

Blake clicked his tongue in frustration. He said, "Well, that's just great. What kind of way?"

Leon backed away from the stranger a little bit, eyeing them warily.

"We could melt them, if we had water," Evangeline suggested.

"Just a traveling salesman, you know how it is," the stranger commented, removing his hood to reveal a young, dark-haired man. He smiled brightly, then noted the carnage around them. "Ah, this is a bit of a pickle."

"Umm . . . you came at a bad time. This isn't the safest place to be right now." Kaien lightly rubbed the back of his head while watching the salesman observe the surrounding. "Just for the record . . . those things weren't human."

Seiyu quickly dug into her bag and pulled out a small canister. "Does purified water count?"

Blake glanced over at them, eyebrow raised. "Does it really matter about what kind of water we use?"

"We're kinda being attacked at the moment," Leon added, peering over at where Blake, Seiyu, and Evangeline had disappeared off to.

"Yes, it must be water from a sacred spring, blessed by a priest, and with a drop of a wizard or witch's blood in it. They don't make it easy," Evangeline answered.

The stranger chuckled. "Still seems better than the werewolves." He gingerly stepped over a fallen vampire's corpse.

{I'm so sorry that I haven't replied recently. I've been swamped with finals and projects. Now that my semester is over, I'm free!}

Kaien looked over to the stranger in shock. "There's werewolves outside?!"

{No worries, Naito. ^_^ It's good to have you back!}

"A wizard's or witch's blood. That's not easy to come by... especially at this very moment. Unless..." She looked over to Blake and Evangeline, "One of you two happen to have it on you."

Blake shook his head, rubbing the back of his head. "Nope. I don't carry anything like that on me."

Leon stared. "Are you serious?"

{Ack, I know the feeling. I was a bit delayed this time for similar reasons. Sorry about that X-X}

Evangeline shook her head. "No, it starts to smell after a few days and it clashes with my perfume."

The stranger smiled. "Yes, indeed, there are werewolves out in the forest there." He sighed. "And some non-were-wolves, too, but they are basically harmless."

{No worries. Everyone has those days.}

Kaien sighed. "Great . . . we have vampires in here and werewolves outside . . . how are we suppose to survive this night?!"

{Good to have you back Color!}

Seiyu sighed. "Then how are we suppose to do this without the blood? Unless..." Seiyu let her sentence trail off as she turned her attention towards Evangeline. "Can we use the blood from the vampire wizards?"

Blake glanced over at the other two. "Is that even possible?"

Leon rubbed his temples, feeling a migraine forming. "This...is truly what I wasn't expecting. How long is this supposed to go on?!"

"Vampires, hm..." The stranger sighed heavily, slumping against the wall and sliding to a sit on the floor. "Figures."

Evangeline stared at them each in turn, obviously considering. "I have not heard of such a thing--using vampire wizard blood...but that does not necessarily mean it would not work."

Kaien looked over to the stranger. "You knew there were werewolves and vampires here? First there's that girl, now you . . . are you part of some secret order as well?"
