Kaien sighed. "I just rather not. I'm not in the mood to fight."

"My goodness. Fine. If you guys want to stay out here then watch our backs." Seiyu walked over to the door and turned around. "When the rest of you are ready to attack then let me know."

Blake groaned, craning his neck from side to side. "I'm ready," he spoke up. "Let's just get this thing done and over with."

Leon snickered and nodded, waving to them. "Good luck."

"I'm always ready," Evangeline said, cracking her knuckles.

The stranger sighed. "Well, in that case, I bid you all adieu and wish you luck." He glanced at a window. "Hopefully no other dangers will present themselves."

Kaien nodded towards them. "The best of luck to the three of you."

Seiyu smiled. "Alright. Let's take care of this pest." She placed her hands on the door and gave a shove. The doors creaked open revealing darkness inside.

Blake clicked his tongue and gave the stranger a disapproving glance. "Hey, now. Don't say that," he chastised. "Because if you do, our luck will really end up going down the drain."

Leon just laughed sheepishly and waved at them. "Well, good luck you guys."

"It smells like...something familiar," Evangeline noted, sniffing the air in the dark room.

The stranger laughed. "Oh my, yes, I don't want to jinx it."

Kaien shrugged a bit and looked around. "Let's wrap this up as soon as possible. I really want to get out of here."

"Fire in the hole!" Seiyu took out a round object and threw it into the darkness. A few seconds later the room was illuminated with light. "Let's go!"

Blake grumbled, but went inside the room anyway before the light died down.

"Have fun," Leon called out to them, waving for effect.

"The light is really unnecessary..." Evangeline muttered as she followed them in.

The stranger frowned, looking around. "I wonder if daylight will bring us any safety..."

"Is it just me or is that girl a bit eccentric?" Kaien covered his eyes as the light illuminated not only the basement but every inch of the room they were currently in.

Seiyu smiled. "The light keeps away the minions. That way we can go straight for the master."

Blake craned his neck, looking at the others and gestured to the end of the room. He adopted an annoyed expression. "Let's just hurry already before the big, bad boss gets royally pissed off."

"Good luck," Leon bid, crossing his arms. Then he turned towards the stranger. "Any idea of how long it'll be until daylight comes?"

"It's a thin line between pissed and amused, dear," Evangeline commented.

"I'm afraid not. I'm not from around here..." The stranger said.

"Hmm . . . I say a few more hours until the sun comes up. I have a feeling something big will happen when the time gets closer."

"Come on guys! No time for idle chit-chat." Seiyu ran further into the room and stopped when she saw a large throne-like chair. A dark figure was lazily sitting. "Umm... looks like he was expecting us."

Blake slowed down his pace, immediately looking annoyed. "You've got to be kidding," he mumbled. "Oi, old man! What's the big deal with sending all these minions after us?"

Leon breathed out. "Well, the next few hours are going to be quite a pain then."

The stranger pursed his lips together. "How long have you all been in here?"

"Hello!" Evangeline said to the man, much too cheerfully considering the circumstances.
