"Hey! Nice to see a friendly face," Cole said, looking relieved.

"Yeah, well, I guess after you hit it, if it was gonna eat anybody, it'd eat you first." Al giggled.

"I was right! It is a wolf." Esther smiled and crouched down. "Where are the others?"

Raine smiled and laughed. "Exactly. Like I said, it's perfectly safe."

Erik gestured over his shoulder. "Back there. We're all looking for you. Something's come up."

Aiden crossed his arms as he gently tapped the wall with his foot, only to stop when he heard some sort of song echoing within the area. Eyebrows furrowed, he looked around, trying to detect the source of the sound.

"What do you mean? Is everyone okay?" Cole asked, glancing in the direction Erik gestured.

"Ooh, what a pretty song," Al said, humming along with it (albeit poorly).

"Lead the way back and we'll follow. I want to get out of here."

"A song?" Raine looked around the tunnel. "It sounds oddly familiar... sounds like a siren's song."

Erik's ears twitched and he held back a growl. "Something like that, but we need to get a move on. The others are just up ahead."

Aiden frowned, looking around as he tried to decipher the source of where the song was coming from. However, he noticed how it started to steadily become louder.

"Show us where to go. We're right behind you," Cole agreed.

"Is it just me or is that singing gettin' closer?" Al asked.

"Come on. I think the faster we meet up with the others, the better." Esther looked behind her and make sure nothing tries to sneak up on them.

"It's getting closer." Raine looked around cautiously. "What could a siren be doing here? They don't normally roam caves."

Erik nodded and began to lead the two back to where Al and Raine were still waiting.

Cursing under his breath, he hurried back to Al and Raine, trying to ignore the strange sensations threatening to overcome his body.

"What happened to you guys?" Cole asked.

Al shivered. "A siren...wowie...never thought I'd see one of them. This might be a dumb question...but none of y'all is a siren, right? Just werewolves and stuff?"

"It's amazing that you actually found us. We traveled a bit far from the starting point," Esther said with an amused smile on her face.

"Yep. No sirens among us. Just an assortment of other species of things."

"It wasn't exactly easy finding you," Erik muttered, keeping his ears facing forward to listen out for Al or Raine's voices. "But we stopped in what we were doing because we sensed that something was wrong. There are traps laid out in this place so Raine suggested we go find you two before something might end up happening."

"Al!" Aiden cried out as soon as he reached the two. "Has the others come back yet?"

"Yeah, this place is weird, but it should be easier if we're all working together," Cole said, glancing around.

"Any regular humans?" Al asked.

"That makes a lot of sense. Alright then. Let's head back." Esther smiled down towards Erik and patted him on the head.

"No one's back yet, Aiden." Raine looked around and sighed. "I think they're going to be back soon enough." She turned her attention back to Al and smiled. "Sorry, Al. No regular humans in this group. You're the only one."

Erik mustered up a growl, looking as annoyed as a wolf can get, but said nothing further as he hastily led the two back to where the others were.
