Wizardland

Aiden made a face, but sighed. He crossed his arms, scanning their surroundings until his ears picked up a bit of sound in the distance.

"He doesn't like to be treated like a dog, I guess..." Cole noted, trying to hide a smug smile.

"Wow...I hope I didn't make a mistake joinin' up with ya," Al said jokingly, with a big smile. "Y'know what they say about non-humans..."

Esther still kept the smile. "It was just a pat on the head. If you really want me to treat you like a dog, then . . ." she let the thought trail off while changing her smile into a smirk.

"No worries, Al. We are human-friendly. I have a feeling having non-human help is better than human help. Especially if witches are the enemies here."

"I hate you," Erik grunted, wasting no time as he continued to lead them back. "Let's just hurry and get back to the others already."

"If it's a witch, then we best be on our guard," Aiden commented dryly before his ears twitched upon hearing the slightest noise. He craned his neck, seeing Erik and the others arriving. "There you guys are."

"Sounds good. Hey, are dogs anything like dolphins? I haven't seen many dogs." Cole looked somewhat embarrassed. "Hey, everyone! Good to see you."

"I don't think I met these people," Al commented. "They look...nice."

Esther smiled. "Dogs and dolphins are completely different. Although, I don't think Erik here likes to be called a dog." She turned to the others and waved. "Hello again. Fancy meeting you here."

Raine smiled. "Fancy meeting you here too. It's a good thing that we're all together now. It seems we have a change of plans."

Erik grumbled something under his breath, but opted to stay quiet and just simply sit. "Something's come up. Al, here, had withheld some rather important information from us," he explained, giving Al a certain look.

"What he said," Aiden muttered, gesturing to Al. "So now we have to worry about something else."

Al looked at the ground ashamedly, blushing all the while.

Cole glanced at her then at Aiden. "Uh...what kind of something else?"

"Something else? Does it have to do with the village not too far from here?"

Raine looked over to Esther confused. "How did you know? We didn't know bout the village until Al told us."

Erik blinked at them. "What did you guys find?"

Raising an eyebrow, Aiden crossed his arms and waited patiently for the two to answer.

"Never mind that, what is it you wanted to tell us about her?" Cole looked more concerned.

Al looked confused.

Esther smiled and pointed at her nose. "I'm a shifter. My nose is pretty strong. I caught scent of the village when we were heading over here."

"Wow. That's amazing. Well since you know about it... We have to go there," Raine said while smiling. "We need to help Al save her village."

"And the faster we do this, the faster we can get it over with," Erik muttered, ears twitching. He lifted his head, staring at the end of the tunnel before a low growl escaped from him.

Aiden paused, glancing down at Erik curiously. "What's wrong?"

"You wanna get rid of me?" Al asked, her bottom lip quivering.

Cole glanced towards the end of the tunnel.

"Umm . . . we may have trouble. " Esther looked towards the end of the tunnel and narrowed her eyes. "Someone's here."

Raine moved infront of Al. "Stay behind me, Al. Things might get bad."

"Everyone be on your guard," Erik snarled out, already bracing himself. He watched closely as a shadowy figure started to appear in front of the group.
