Aiden shifted uneasily again. "Well, we can go in separate teams to find the ingredients?"

Al tilted her head at Aiden. "Separate...?" She considered for a moment then nodded. "We could do that. Some of the ingredients are in this forest and some aren't. A dragon lives here, for example, but the griffins live in the nearby mountains."

Esther tilted her head a bit in confusion. "So if we're going to split up, who's going with who?"

Raine frowned a bit. "There's five items needed to break the spell. I guess that means that all of us will be getting the items."

"I don't mind handling the griffins," Erik offered, looking at everyone else to see if they have any objections.

Aiden nodded. "I can find the parsely," he offered.

Al shook her head. "One person can't get any item alone. It's too dangerous. Two of you should come with me, and the other three should go together." She hesitated. "We can meet back 'ere in a few days or something. I just hope my brother is okay that long."

"But then my question remains. Who is going to go with who? I'll be fine with anyone!" Esther smiled and looked over to the others. "Maybe we can team up according to which item needs to be gathered."

"That's true. I'll go with someone if they're handling dragons. I think I'll be of use." Raine smiled and looked over to the others.

Erik looked at everyone else, thinking before looking over at Raine. "I may take your offer on that then."

Aiden shifted uneasily on his feet, looking at everyone else. "I can help anyone who would be willing to go after the gryphons. I believe my power can help."

Cole shrugged noncommittally. "I'm not really good at anything. I'll go with whoever."

Al frowned at the group. "Do ya know 'ow to defeat 'em? The monsters ya picked?"

Esther tilted her head a bit. "We have to kill them? We can't just take what we need from them and be on our way?"

Erik sighed, placing his hands into his pockets as he listened to everyone else talk.

"That might be more difficult." Raine turned towards Al. "Would killing them be easier or just taking what we need?"

Aiden tucked his hands into his pockets as he looked over at Al, waiting for an answer.

Al's eyes began to water. "I don't wanna hurt them or anythin', but I'm scared for my brother! Maybe you can just knock 'em out, not kill 'em?"

Cole shook his head. "I've never seen one, but I've heard dragons are dangerous. I doubt they'll be easy to defeat without hurting them."

"It might be harder to knock them out, but I think we can manage it." Esther smiled and looked over to the others. "If we all work together, then I'm sure we can get what we need without totally harming the creatures."

"I think we can manage it." Raine smiled and looked down towards Al. "We'll make sure not to kill them."

"You have our word," Erik told Al, smiling a little reassuringly.

Aiden nodded in agreement with the others, though he couldn't help but feel as though there's something rather wrong with this situation.

Al smiled widely. "Thanks, all of ya! If we work together, surely we can do it!"

Cole was surprised by the mood swing, but he was hardly one to understand how humans' emotions worked.

"Ok! Now let's go and get the items. I want to take the griffin." Esther turned towards the others. "Who wants to come with me?"

"I'm going for the dragon!" Raine smiled and looked to the three others. "How about you guys?"

Erik smirked. "I'm going to take on the dragons," he looked over at Raine, "if you don't mind that is."
