Wayward Academy

Ugh, Conan hated that smile on Loki's face. He made an annoyed face but replied "fine, okay."

Explain what things? What had just unfolded, or something else? Yamino was still watching the others in the group carefully, fully intending to report back to Loki.

"Then we should hurry back." Hikaru and Kaoru looked at each other again and nodded. "Who knows . . . they could be worse than all of us."

Komui laughed. "I don't think so. Those children may cause a little trouble, but there's no way things will be bad on their end."

"I'm not too sure of what this school is for either. I didn't really understand the details. I just got the basics." Yuffie looked over to Sebastian hoping for him to explain more.


Sebastian simply smiled. "I'm afraid that the Young Master would be better at explaining the purpose of this school than me. We will simply have to wait until we reach the academy so he will be able to explain it more clearly to each of you."

Lavi filed the information away, his curiosity about the young master Sebastian was talking about rising. He asked, "He's really the principal of this school?"

Loki inwardly snickered at Conan's expression, but he just nodded and began to roam around the library.

Tifa smiled slightly, feeling an inkling of apprehension fill her.

Conan began to look around as well, noting that the library was filled with a variety of books on every subject he could think of. He looked for the mystery section.

Hikaru and Kaoru looked at each and shrugged. "We'll see."

Kamui looked over to them and laughed. "You think those three kids are more trouble than the rest of you? I'm shocked to hear you two admit that."

Yuffie turned towards Sebastian. "So you work for that little kid with the eyepatch? That's amazing. I need to talk to him. I want my own servant." Yuffie turned back around and started imagining the possibilities.


Sebastian laughed lightly. "The relationship between the Young Master and I are a bit different than the average master and servant."

"Oh, how so?" Lavi's curiosity was piqued now as he looked over at Sebastian.

"I highly doubt such kids could get into too much trouble," Tifa remarked jokingly.

Loki continued to wander around the library, expression curious as he regarded the large variety of books.

Yamino listened curiously.

"Have you found anything exciting?" Conan asked Loki loudly.

Hikaru snickered. "Of course those kids can't cause as much trouble as we can!"

Kaoru nodded and slung an arm over Hikaru's shoulders. "We are the masters of trouble!"

Komui laughed and continued walking. "Hopefully not too much trouble . . . this is still a school."

Lightning reached the academy and stood still for a few minutes. Should she be worried about the silence? Hopefully those children aren't in too much trouble. She sighed and continued into the academy.


Sebastian smiled. "I'm afraid I can't say any more than that. It's a secret."


Yuffie pouted and huffed. "That's too bad. I need to get my own. Imagine the possibilities." She snickered and continued walking.

Lavi smirked slightly but continued to follow after Yuffie.

There was a brief moment of silence before Loki yelled out, "I think I found something!"

Ciel was disturbed by the silence and he frowned, unsure of what to think. Those other two couldn't have gotten into too much trouble, but he knew they were bound to eventually find something out. He breathed out, debating whether or not he should remain in his spot before sighing. No time to think about it now. He might as well make sure those two didn't get into any trouble. So Ciel began to head toward to the first place he could think of: the library.

"What did you find?" Conan asked at a normal volume, heading in Loki's direction.

Hikaru and Kaoru snickered. "Hey look who's up ahead!" They grinned seeing Lightning and the academy.

Komui looked past them and smiled. "Good. Look's like we finally reached the academy again. Let's go and find those three."

Lightning turned around. "You guys finally made it. I was starting to think everyone got lost."


Sebastian chuckled to himself. "Maybe one day you'll be able to find one."


Yuffie huffed. "Who knows how long that will take."

"Hey, maybe if we combined our skills, it won't take long at all," Lavi said, grinning at Yuffie.

"Good. You've all made it," Akabane stated, appearing behind Komui. "It seems like the children has wandered off while we were gone."

"Does finding a trap door count?" Loki called back, his tone a tad sheepish.

Tifa looked at Akabane in surprise. "What? And you didn't try to find them?"

"A trap door?" Conan asked, reaching Loki. "How'd you find it?"

"And now we have to look for three kids." Hikaru and Kaoru looked at each other and shrugged. "Chances are they're all together."

Komui clapped his hands together and grinned. "Then it's off to find the kids. We'll split up and look. Let's all meet back at the cafeteria in two hours."

Sebastian smiled and chuckled to himself. "I believe I know where they may be."


Lightning looked over to Sebastian and rose an eyebrow. "You do?"


Sebastian simply nodded. "I checked the profile of our students and the young one has a knack for mysteries. No doubt they are searching the academy."


Yuffie tilted her head a bit. "That doesn't really explain how you would where to find them. They can be anywhere in the academy."


Sebastian laughed lightly. "I'm simply one hell of a butler."

Lavi looked at Sebastian with a narrowed eye for a moment before smiling. "Are you sure you're not a detective instead?"

Akabane chuckled. "I think I recall seeing the young headmaster wandering off somewhere. The other two...I haven't seen them when I returned."

Loki shrugged. "I pulled a book," he stated simply.
