Artic smiled. "Brat you say . . . well . . ." She took out her sword and pointed it against Ian's back. "Care to test that theory, old man?"

Aiden look over to Norm. "Say what you like. If it wasn't for me, this place would never survive against the rebellion."

Seth quietly followed after Flame. He took a quick glance back towards the bickering pair and shrugged. "Completely oblivious."

Ian stopped, closing his eyes while releasing a sigh. "We have better things to do, Artic. You know that."

Flame shrugged, ignoring them and noticing the other pair just up ahead.

She nodded in agreement. "Let's hurry then."

"Yes, but it's not really survival if it's not organized," Norm muttered to himself, looking quite displeased.

Noelle cleared her throat and headed off in the right direction. "So you got a plan?"

Artic smiled and sheathed her sword. "I was kidding old man. You need to stop taking things so seriously."

Aiden rolled his eyes. "I have my way of doing things and you have yours. Let's just leave it at that."

Seth let out a silent sigh. "Should we try and go after the pair up ahead?"

Flame nodded.

Ian rolled his eyes and released a sigh.

Seren sighed, following after Noelle. She replied, "Well, the leader thought it'd be a good idea for you to come up with the plan this time."

Norm made a frustrated noise but did not reply.

Noelle groaned. "Can't we just jump in and kill 'em all?"

Artic snickered and kept walking. "Hopefully, those two won't cause too much trouble."

Aiden stopped infront of the President's office and knocked on the door.

{Anyone want to temporarily play the President?}

{I'll play since I'm only playing one character right now.}

"Let's go." Seth took her hand and followed the pair ahead.


The President looked at the door. He took a few seconds before answering. "Enter."

Flame allowed Seth to lead, glancing around for anything out of the ordinary.

Ian released a silent snicker.

"No can do," Seren snickered. "Unless you want to attract all sorts of attention to us."

"Mr. President, sir, it's me," Norm said, bowing his head and entering.

"Then we just kill whoever's payin' attention to us, too," Noelle muttered.

Artic sighed while rubbing the back of her head. "I have a feeling trouble is brewing with those two."

Aiden walked into the office. "There were two intruders earlier. They both managed to escape."

Seth looked around. "Sense anything, Flame?"


The President looked up from his paperwork. "I see. Norm, I need to talk to Aiden alone. Hold all my meetings and calls for the next half hour."

Flame closed her eyes, silent for a moment before looking around. She replied, "There's some people following us."

Ian snickered. "Well...with those two...they're not known for getting along at times."

Seren snickered. "Let's hurry and get this job done. I'm sure there's more exciting missions waiting for us."

"Yes, sir!" Norm saluted and exited the room.

"Somethin' better than a stupid recon," Noelle muttered. "What are the details, anyway? I ditched Jensen before he said."

"Yeah . . . I give them the best of luck." Artic rubbed the back of her neck.

Aiden turned towards the President. "She was here."

"Really? Are they friendly?" Seth looked around cautiously. He didn't want to have to fight just yet.


The President paused in his paperwork. "I see... she managed to escape didn't she?" He looked up and gave a stern look towards Aiden. "I'm highly disappointed in you."

Ian shrugged, eyes forward. He said, "Not much we can do about it."

Flame tilted her head as she concentrated. Then she replied, "Nope. Not friendly at all."

Seren rolled her eyes and released a sigh. She replied, "Basically, we're to gather information about this new project they've been working out. Apparently, it's an experiment that was supposed to change the whole world."

"Oh, I hate that change the world crap," Noelle replied, rubbing her head. "What is it? Superpowered kid? Giant weapon? Robots? Always wanted to kick a robot's ass."
