Umbra Scriptum VS Tien Tri

"Let's get going then. I don't want to stay in that place longer than I have to." Artic opened the entrance and walked through. She has a good feeling that this mission will need all of her strength. This was going to suck!

Aiden quickly jumped to the side and swung his sword. He heard it collide against metal and used more of his strength and pushed against it. He knew that using that much strength on her would injure her, but she'll be able to handle it.

"You're working with Seren. She should be in her room or in the training room."



Seth's eyes widened a bit. Aiden might be going a bit too far with this training. This isn't good at all. Everyone at the company knows that Aiden tends to get carried away and it never means good news to anyone.

Flame gritted her teeth as she slammed into a wall due to Aiden's strength, but she got up anyway, breathing heavily as her bruises began to heal. She looked at Aiden, watching him closely as she waited for him to make another move.

Ian nodded and followed after her. He knew that he would need to keep an eye on Artic just in case.

Seren took a deep breath as she aimed a kick at the training dummy, hearing it crash into the wall. She looked at the crater that was formed. "Tch.

Noelle muttered something that sounded distinctly like a curse word and exited Jensen's office, knowing that some minion would come to her with more information about the mission. She stormed into the room and frowned silently at Seren.

Norm cleared his throat and meekly said "Oh my, please, sir, let's not go this far with the training--"

Aiden turned towards Norm and sighed. "Fine." He sheathed his sword and turned off the simulation. "Your first lesson is over."

Jensen let out a long sigh. Sometimes this was just too much. He would quit, but then Umbra would be unstoppable. He would never allow that to happen.



Seth stared at Aiden. "Lesson is over, huh... guess we're done." He sheathed his sword and sighed. This was pretty crazy. He can't imagine what the other training sessions are. Probably more insane than this one. Wonderful...

Flame stopped and sheathed her sword. She released a sigh as she rubbed the back of her head. She certainly didn't expect to go to her limit against Aiden so soon.

"What?" Seren asked, unsure as to why Noelle was giving her that kind of frown.

Norm froze. He had hardly expected anyone to listen to him! "Er, sorry, but that was getting out of hand," he squeaked.

Noelle shrugged. "Whaddya know about the new mission we're on?"

Aiden looked over to Norm and remained silent. "Be back here first thing tomorrow morning. I don't care what you do for the rest of the day." He turned towards the entrance and left.

Seth watched Aiden leave and sighed. "Well... I guess we get to do whatever we want until tomorrow." He looked down and smiled at Flame. "How about we get a bite to eat?"

"Like what?" Flame asked, blinking up at Seth curiously.

"I know that we're supposed to scout out the area around Umbra," Seren replied, watching Noelle carefully.

Noelle groaned impatiently. "Gee, thanks for that information, it was brand new. I meant, what's the secret? There's gotta be a catch to this thing."

Norm cleared his throat, unsure of whether to follow Aiden or not. He finally chose to. "Sir! Where are you going?"

Aiden sighed and kept walking. "That doesn't concern you Norm. You should go back to your duties and see if the President needs anything."

"Ian . . . we're here." Artic looked past the trees and saw Umbra coming closer. "You ready for this?"

Seth shrugged. "I'm not sure, but I heard they have a cafeteria here. Shall we try that place?"

"Sure!" Flame replied cheerfully.

Ian nodded, keeping his gaze on Umbra.

"There's no catch. You're just being paranoid, Noelle," Seren sighed as she rubbed the back of her head.

Norm cleared his throat. "Sir, I must protest...I need to discuss your training methods with you."

Noelle glared before shrugging. "Where do we start?"

"Remember what we have to do. We need to disable their security. All of it." Artic turned towards Ian and grinned wickedly. "This is going to be fun."

"There is nothing wrong with how I train them." Aiden continued walking and didn't bother to look back to know that he was still being followed by him.

Seth grinned and walked towards the exit. "Then let's go. We should try and get to know each other too since we're going to be training under the same person."

Ian sighed, frowning at Artic a bit. "Do your best to keep it under control this time."

Flame paused, looking up at him curiously. "Getting to know each other?"

"At one of the hideouts near Umbra. Ian managed to swipe out the layout of the area where all of the hideouts are," Seren told her.

"I--er, of course not! I just wanted to note that--suggest that--request that--er...surely you could go a bit easier on them?" He paused, soaking in his fear for a moment. "Sir. They're very young."

Noelle groaned. "Near Umbra? Oooh, how exciting." She scoffed. "Whatever, let's go."
