Wayward Academy

Usagi began to foam at the mouth (unconsciously, naturally).

Yamino kept his smile even and gentle. "This academy appears to be displaced in time. Pardon me, but based on your clothing and relationship with Ciel, I made the assumption that you and Ciel came from the late nineteenth century. This does beg the question...I've now mentioned two significant historical moments: the publishing of a Sherlock Holmes novel and Einstein's publishing of his theory of relativity. Both of these events occurred later than the time you appear to be from, but you didn't flinch when I mentioned them."

Conan frowned. "You don't want to come, Ciel?"

Hikaru and Kaoru pointed to their left. "There's something over there."

Komui looked over to the twins and walked over to them. "Did you see what it was?"

Hikaru shrugged. "I couldn't tell."

Kaoru copied Hikaru. "But I did see a long flash of yellow."

"Then get's go find Usagi!" Yuffie grinned and jumped down from the tree. "I still need to find my shuriken!"


Lightning sighed lightly. "Let's go. She's probably in trouble." She walked past the twins and towards the direction they saw her fall.


Sebastian grinned and laughed silently. "Like I said. We all must keep an open mind."

Lavi nodded and then raised an eyebrow. "I guess I'll meet you on the ground then?"

Akabane shook his head in amusement before looking over at the flower.

"Long flash of yellow?" Tifa repeated before sweat-dropping. "It could be one of the girls."

Ciel shook his head. "I'd rather not."

Usagi remained where she was and in serious need of medical attention.

Yamino glanced at Sebastian from the corner of his eye. "I hope you are not here to hurt Loki-sama."

Conan shrugged. "All right, Loki, guess it's just us then!"

Hikaru and Kaoru looked at each other. "One of the girls did have long blonde hair. I think she fell from the tree."

Komui blinked for a few seconds. "If she fell, then we need to get to her immediately." He took off after Lightning. "You guys follow!"

Yuffie reached the ground and striked a pose. "The Great Yuffie Kisaragi is here!"


Lightning reached the area and sighed. "You know. If you found her you could have said something." She looked over to Akabane and walked over to pick up Usagi. "Sometimes I wonder what your true motives are for coming here."


Sebastian laughed lightly. "Hurt? Of course not. I'm only here to help the Young Master run this school. Nothing more."

Once he reached the ground, Lavi deactivated his hammer and looked over at the twins. He blinked. "Where did Lightning go?"

Akabane chuckled as he replied, "I just stumbled upon her." He tipped his hat toward her while he gave Lightning an innocent smile.

Loki chuckled and nodded. "Alright. See you later then, Ciel!"

"Whatever," the young Phantomhive heir sighed out.

Tifa sweat-dropped and hurried to check on the girl.

When she was touched, Usagi's head rolled sideways.

Yamino frowned at him, obviously unable to trust the other butler.

"Where should we look first?" Conan asked.

Hikaru and Kaoru clapped as they saw Yuffie land perfectly. "Good job!"

Komui walked past some more trees and saw Lightning. "Were you able to find her?"

Yuffie stood up straight and grinned. "Of course it was good. I am the greatest afterall!"


Lightning nodded lightly. "We should get her back to the school quickly. Seems like she's taken quite a hit."


Sebastian grinned and followed towards where the adults went. "Ooh. It seems we found both of them. That's good news."

Akabane chuckled, crouching down to pick Usagi up. "Well, shall we bring her back inside?"

Lavi rubbed the back of his head, releasing a sigh.

"How about the library?" Loki suggested.

Tifa sighed, heading over to Akabane and Usagi. She looked over her injuries before using Cure on her.

Usagi remained unconscious with the same absurd expression on her face.

Yamino frowned, momentarily changing his priorities. "We should be careful of the animals here," he warned.

"There's a library?" Conan asked.

Hikaru and Kaoru looked at each and shrugged in unison.

Komui sighed with relief. "That's wonderful! Now let's head back to the academy before something else happens."

Yuffie looked at the twins in shock. "You mean you never heard of the Great Yuffie Kisaragi?! What is wrong with you two!?"


Lightning sighed. "Let's go then. There's still children back at the academy as well."


Sebastian nodded and started heading back in the direction of the academy. "That sounds like a good idea. Who knows what those three have gotten into."

Lavi snickered, holstering his hammer and began to follow Sebastian back. "The worst they can do is go exploring in the school."

Akabane chuckled and shifted Usagi so she was more comfortable before making his way back to the school.

"Yup!" Loki replied.

Ciel sighed and rubbed his temples. "There's a library down the hall. It's the only room with silver doors," he told them.

Tifa nodded, following them back to the building.

Some drool rolled out of Usagi's mouth.

Yamino followed the others, wondering what danger Loki was in...

"Why does it have silver doors?" Conan asked.

Hikaru and Kaoru looked at each other again and shrugged. "We never heard of anyone like that in our world."

Komui grinned and raised an arm into the air. "Alright everyone! Now that we have rescued our students let's head back to start the first lesson!"

Yuffie turned toward the others. "We can't go yet! I need to find my shuriken!"


Lightning sighed lightly. "Hurry and find it."


Sebastian looked over to the rest. "How about some stay while the rest heads back. Just make sure that whoever stays manages to find their way back."

Lavi chuckled and raised his hand. "I'll stay back with her. You guys can go on ahead."

Akabane continued on ahead. "I'll go on ahead then. Best to bring this one inside before she attracts more danger."

"I don't know. It was just already there," Ciel replied.

Loki grinned. "Well, in that case, let's go!"

Tifa nodded and sighed.
