Evrae shot another zombie in the head before looking back at Gigi and Alex. "I'll cover her," she told them. "Just make it quick!"

Nathan scowled and punched a zombie in the face. "I'm getting annoyed by these bloody things."

"So you want me...to run at the zombies with fire? Wait, am I setting them on fire?! Setting the zombies on fire? So they, like, will be burning firey zombies chasing us?" Gigi asked incredulously.

"We won't have burning zombies after us. The heat from the fire will fry their brains. As for the other things . . . it'll just slow them down a bit." Tori snickered as she continued her rampage of lighting everything on fire.

"We need to make a path out of here otherwise we're going to be stuck on the street with them surrounding us." Alex raised his slingshot and started throwing pebbles through the head of the zombies. He heard noises and shuffling approaching. "We better hurry! I hear more coming."

Evrae ducked as she kicked a Necromorph away from her. "Alright, just go!"

Nathan muttered out something. "This is just getting ridiculous," he scowled out.

Gigi backed away from the zombies, still waving her stick from a safe distance. "Okay, so can I just light stuff on fire and throw it at them? Or you can use your slingshot or whatever," she said, gesturing to Alex.

Tori ran back to the others and smiled. "You can throw stuff at them, but do you really want to burn your hands? Just throw your stick and run. At this point it's better to run now. If we stay any longer, we're going to be ambushed."

"No offense, but I'm not going to try and sling burning objects with my slingshot. I'm screwed if something happens to it. We better follow Tori's advice and run."

"I think that's the best solution," Evrae agreed before checking her watch. She let out a small curse before running off to the side when a Necromorph attacked her with its tentacles.

"Hey! Have you finally decided on what to do yet?!" Nathan yelled.

Gigi yelled something incomprehensible then threw her burning sticks and hid behind the others.

Tori reached the building and kicked the door open. "Hurry and get in! Try to make it to the roof if you can."

"Come on guys. Move it or lose it!" He reached the door and turned back to the others. He took aim and made sure to keep those abominations away for as long as he can.

Evrae kicked down another zombie before running into the building.

Nathan cursed under his breath before running over to the others.

Gigi followed, shrieking intermittently. She ran quickly towards the door.

"Everybody in? Good." Tori quickly closed the door and jammed a metal pole through the handle. "We'll need to barricade this door."

"Way ahead of you." Alex walked over to a large display case and started pushing it towards the door. "A little help would be greatly appreciated."

Evrade nodded, helping Alex find other pieces of furniture to barricade the door with.

Nathan nodded, looking around the room before finding some furniture. However, he paused when he heard something rattle in the ceiling. "Uh...guys?"

"Maybe it's a raccoon?" Gigi asked, glancing at the ceiling while making no effort to help.

Tori took a pause and listened to the rattling. "Stay on guard. It could be anything. We should stick close to each other."

"Only one way to find out." Alex aimed his slingshot up towards the ceiling and let a pebble loose. There was a distinctive clank as the pebble made impact but no sounds of anything falling. "Umm... Anyone want to go check?"
