N.I.G.H.T.M.A.R.E

Evrae paused when she heard someone's voice outside, cautiously peering out from under the staircase before running out. Her eyes narrowed when she caught sight of Alex and a zombie stumbling towards him from behind. Taking a deep breath, she aimed her pistol at the zombie, quickly killing it before it can manage to hurt the other human.

Nathan yelped loudly when a zombie tried to grab him from behind, managing to ducking before it can get him and he scampered away.

"What the hell!?"

A zombie seemed to spot Gigi suddenly, despite her incredible hiding spot--a lighted alley. She shrieked, backing away. "Uh, this is a misunderstanding. I'm not part of this." She gestured at her bracelet. "This is just a fashion accessory, and an ugly one too!"

Tori heard someone talking nearby. She sighed lightly. Probably someone who got into some trouble. She took off and saw two people in an alley. More like one person and a zombie. "Another person who got caught up in this game." She ran over and stabbed the zombie through the head. "Oi . . . are you alright?" She pulled her knife out and kicked the body down. "You're not hurt right?"

Alex quickly turned around as he heard a gun shot. He saw the body of a zombie fall before him. "That was a close one. Whoever shot that, thanks!" He looked around and tried to find the person who saved him.

"Don't mention it," Evrae replied as she walked up to Alex, looking around at her surroundings first before facing him. She asked, "Are you the only other person here?"

Nathan paused at the unexpected voice, turning around and blinked when he caught sight of Tori. "Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks."

Gigi picked up her sticks and angrily rubbed them together. "C'mon, c'mon, c'mon! Fire...be firey!"

As the zombie stepped closer, she lost faith in her ability to create fire and instead tossed one stick at the zombie.

Tori nodded lightly. "It's no problem. We have to stick together. I'm Tori."

Alex shrugged lightly. "As far as I can tell, there's only you and me so far." He looked around and smiled towards Evrae. "I'm Alex Auditore."

Evrae sighed, looking worried for a moment before blinking at him. Then she smiled back at him slightly. "Evrae Minuit. Pleased to make your acquaintance."

"Nathan," he introduced himself and looked around. He frowned slightly when he caught sight of some Necromorphs moving in the shadows.

Fortunately for Gigi, her aim was off and the stick hit a line of laundry hanging above the alley, knocking fresh sheets onto the zombie and momentarily distracting it. She reclaimed her stick and ran past the zombie and down the street.

Tori looked around. "So . . . do you have a weapon? I think we have company."

"The pleasure's all mine." He continued to smile as he looked around. "Let's go and see if there are any others out there. I doubt we are the only two in this game."

Evrae nodded in agreement. "Sounds like a good idea. With those creatures out there, who knows what could happen."

"Um..does a stick count?" Nathan asked uncertainly as he eyed their incoming enemies.

Gigi raced down the street, screaming wildly for help.

"A stick will work." She saw a few shadows slowly creeping their way closer to them. At the same time she heard a girl yelling bloody murder. "I think we need to make this quick. Seems like someone else is getting attacked."

Alex nodded. "Let's get going. I think I heard a scream coming down the street."

Evrae nodded in agreement. "You take the lead."

Nathan sweat-dropped at the scream and nodded in agreement. "Alright. Hopefully she'll be able to last until we get to her."

Gigi continued running madly, waving her arms (and sticks) around and screaming.

Tori nodded. "Let's go." She quickly turned back towards the street and ran.

"Stay close behind me." Alex took off down the street.
