The Randomizer!

Blake quickly turned around and slitted the maid's throat with one blade, shoving the other blade into one of her eyes, a maniacal grin placed on his face.

Salene shrugged. "All the things I have can be replaced. I already have my personal items with me."


Seiyu sighed. "Well, now that I'm in care to tell me what's going on here?"

"There are crazy maids attacking everyone in sight," Leon replied, looking around just in case anymore of the maids appeared.

"Wonderful." She clasped her hands together, slinking down the hallway towards a staircase. "Any powers that might come in handy against them?"

Kaien stopped a bit when he saw two people in the distance. It appears to be a man and woman. "Are you two sane?"

"That's my secret," Salene said while watching where they were going. "I wonder how the other guests are handling the situation."


Seiyu turned towards Kaien and smiled. "I'm perfectly sane. How about you?"

Blake made a small sound of annoyance as he looked around before walking down the hall. He frowned a bit, fingering the blade as he kept an eye out on his surroundings.

"Completely and totally sane," Leon told Kaien as he looked over at him.

"Suit yourself." Evangeline crept down the staircase in a distinctly inhuman manner, sniffing as she did so. "The vampires were not expecting a fight. Their master is giving new orders." She shifted her gaze to the floor below as she approached it. "Sounds like no guests have died yet."

"Great. So do any of you two know what's going on here?" Kaien asked while keeping a sharp eye on his surroundings. He will not let another maid try and attack him.

Salene shrugged and followed after her down the stairs. "Looks like they're going to get serious then. They never expected the guests to fight back. He might send stronger foes now."



Seiyu sighed lightly. "You guys don't know about this place do you?" She turned to the two others and looked at them amused. "You two are in for a story."

Blake huffed a bit as he continued to walk down the hall. He looked around, waiting to hear for any attacks from anyone else while mentally cursing at his luck. This was not how he was planning to spend his night.

Leon looked over at Seiyu, waiting for her to begin telling the story of this strange mansion.

Evangeline jumped off the last step, landing on the floor with a thump and straightening herself. "Oh my, this is very exciting." She stepped forward gently, still moving in a serpentine way. "Someone's near. Hello? Are you friend or foe?" She paused and giggled girlishly, revealing her fangs again."Oh dear, look at me rhyming. I've clearly gone batty." She paused again and broke into real laughter, apparently finding the entire situation quite amusing.

Kaien looked over to Seiyu and frowned slightly. "There's a story to this place?"

Salene looked over to her with a scowl on her face. How did she get stuck with her? She's starting to regret her decision to join her.


Seiyu sighed and lightly rubbed her temples. "Ok... I'm going to try and explain this the best I can. Don't interrupt and try to understand." She took a deep breath and explained to them about the history of the mansion.

Blake stopped when he heard voices, heading over to see Evangeline and Salene. He raised an eyebrow at them. "Hi."

Leon blinked in surprise as he continued to listen to Seiyu. He opened his mouth to say something before snapping it shut.

"Oh, my dear, don't look so distraught. Running for your life can be great fun," Evangeline noted to Salene, before noticing that Blake had joined them.

"Human?" she inquired, stepping towards him with one foot turned sideways much like a ballet dancer might begin her dance.

"What?! You can't be serious?! We need to get out of here!" Kaien looked around observing what was around him. "I am not going to be someone's dinner."

"Of course he's human. What else would he be?" Salene rolled her eyes a bit and sighed. "Looks like you already ran into some trouble. It's amazing you're still alive."


Seiyu stared at the two for a bit. "There's no way out. More like... they're not going to let you leave. We just need to survive until the morning."

"I could say the same to you two," Blake replied, eying Evangeline warily. He barely met her, and he was already becoming wary of this one.

Leon crossed his arms over his chest. "Unfortunately, I don't think it may be that easy to leave," he remarked, glancing over at the doors.

"Because, naturally, you've never met a non-human," Evangeline replied smoothly to Salene, certain to open her mouth wide enough to reveal her fangs as she spoke.

To Blake, she smiled, brushing a strand of short auburn hair out of her eyes. "Don't look so scared, dearie. I don't bite."

"So then what do you suppose we do? You seem to know a bit about this place?" He turned towards Seiyu and rose an eyebrow. "How is it you know so much of this place?"
